ATEMON is a construction company based in Athens and has undertaken numerous projects throughout Greece. One of these was the building work and project supervision for Ian’s Bar, in Thessaloniki which is housed in the existing Thessaloniki Regency Casino building.
The bar is reminiscent of pictures of American Jazz Bars from the 1920s. It is a special space, unique in its simplicity and use of materials. It is a special place, unique in its simplicity and use of materials.
Some of the important elements in the bar are the embossed arches on the ceiling, the wooden panelling on the perimeter walls, with triangular cross-sections, and the pink and black-and-white mosaic tile floors.
In addition, the bar also has metal and marble design features, as well as works of art that give the space a stylish and authentic look, perfectly combined to give a retro atmosphere.
